For this topic of @childhoodweekevent I immediately had this memory in my head of sitting next to our huge rhubarb plant in the garden and eating delicious fresh watermelon. Having the refreshing shadow of the moving leaves, the taste of the sweet watermelon and hearing the blackbirds singing. Always was my highlight of a great summer day!🌱

To draw this piece with watercolors was quite fitting and on this sunny days it’s so nice to sit on the balcony and work with colors instead of working on the screen. The little water melon thief also is getting his treat haha.💕
